Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My father and his wife lived in missouri for 20 yrs to this date. They were married in california in 1995, 2 yrs prior to moving to missouri. she left last month and moved to california. will she be able to file for divorce in califonia or does she the jurisdiction stay in missouri? Or is there anything saying one way or the other? they are both residents of missouri.

If she established her domicile in California, she can file for divorce there. Until then, she can file in Missouri. Your father should consult directly with a family law attorney, in his area, soon.
