They couldn't be asked for they were in school. nor was the relationship with the parent brought up, as well as how they would adjust to such a big change. who do we contact about getting a retrial? and what steps can we take to get a fair trial? for our county is corrupt. the judge seemed as though he could careless about what the mother had to say.

Obviously, she realizes now that it was foolish to not hire an attorney. Often people say they can't afford an attorney. What they really mean is they didn't have enough money left after having a smart phone, cable or satellite TV, a second car, and purchasing cigarettes, etc. Often if one foregoes those things, they find they can hire an attorney, or find one that will join them in fighting a chang in custody. If she valued this type that ngs more than getting a lawyer to represent her, the children may be better off. The time to seek a change in the judgment, or file an appeal is short. She needs to consult directly with a family law attorney, in your area, very soon. The f you all are truly poor, legal aid may be available. She will have to act soon.

Good luck
