Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband left our home 20 years ago and I have not heard from him since then. No child support was paid, as the DA couldn't even find him. He recently contacted our adult daughter. We have no joint property and no minor children. We were married in CA and he is probably still there. I moved to MO. Do I need to get a regular divorce, or is there a statute of limitations at this point? Thanks for your help!

If you remarry, you may be guilty of bigamy. At this point, th edivorce may be simple, or perhaps enough time has passed for a reconciliation.
