It is not totally uncommon for a person to use an alias when entering different deals. If the deal goes sour, such people are sued as "real name" AKA "Alias name" Althought people can commit fraud, there is nothing per se illegal about using a Alias in a business deal. Authrs, Actors, rappers and musicians often use aliases in their business dealings or publicity.

Good luck
