Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Sister will be getting divorce. Her and her husband has pre-paid burial plans. How can she get these separated so she is only financially responsible for her own plan?

An attorney would need to review the actual contract for the pre-paid burial arrangements, but these expenses appear from the facts you give us to be "marital debt" subject to division or apportionment by the Court. If your sister has an attorney, she should consult with her attorney and follow her attorney'' advice. If she does not have an attorney, she should probably hire one.
