Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

unmarried fathers rights

The father of my son is way behind on child support and wants me to cancel the case, drive an hour to meet him halfway so he can see our child, and only do it when it is conveinent for him. We have no court order for child custody... What is the best course of action I should take? Keep in mind I already tried to discuss this and come to an agreement with him and it didn't work.

Re: unmarried fathers rights

From the facts you give us, it appears that the father has absolutely no rights to see the child at all. He will have to go to Court to get any such rights. He does have the duty to pay child support however, and you should do everything possible to collect!
