You could hire an attorney to represent you. Or, you can go on your own to your local circuit court. There will be an office where the clerks will give you a Petition to file under the Adult Abuse Act seeking an Ex Parte Order of Protection to prevent your ex-husband from stalking you. He will be served and there will be a court date set, but in the meantime the Ex Parte Order will be in effect. At the court date, your ex-husband may consent to an Order prohibiting the stalking or there may be a hearing after which the court may issue a full Order of Protection on your behalf.
