Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

Can I video tape my neighbor yelling all hrs of the day and night at his girlfriend or whoever he is yelling at? All the police do is come out and tell him to keep it down. If I tape it , am i violating his rights? I own my home,he stays with his mom ,she rents the home. Will the police have to charge him with disturbing the peace.?

In most cases, one can tape what occurs in public places. You cannot peer into windows, or trespass. It is how and were one plays the tape, that gets one in trouble.

It is.impossible to determine if something rises to the level of disturbing the peace, by just a description of "yelling". The volume and time of day are factors.

Good luck
