Legal Question in Employment Law in Missouri

Insurance laws pertaining to employees

I am drawing workmans comp from a injury at my employment. and now my employer wants to remove me from my normal medical insurance and forse me to go on Cobra. As you know workmans comp only pays two thirds of your normal wages and the employer knows there is no way I can pay the higher rates of the cobra plan. Is this legal for then to take away my medical insurance?

Thanks'

Patsy

Probably, but it depends on the facts and circumstances of the situation. I would recommend you have your worker's comp attorney review the issue for you.
