Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

I contented to a judgement with a landlord stating I wold give him so much money over over back rent. He sold the property 6 months later and now says I need to pay this other landlord even though the original says to pay to first landlord right on the consent paper. Do I need to pay the 2nd landlord even though his name is not on the consent form?

A Judgmetn creditor may designate an agent or successor to accpet payments. This nis common when rental property is sold.. Make sure that it is clear (in writing, signed by landlord one) that payments to lanldord two will credit your debt to landlord one.

Good luck
