Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Missouri

About 2 weeks ago I was in the er and after several hours in the er was told that i have a cyst on both ovaries but explained to the er doctor that was impossible due to they were removed 4 yrs ago....went to my current ob/gyn doctor (he didnot remove ovaries )and he did an ultrasound and both ovaries grew back because the previous doctor didnot remove all of the live tissue and now i have to have another surgey because the right ovary has 2 cyst one that is liquid filled and a blood filled cyst and the left ovary has alot of scar tissue and something to do with my bowel....i want to know if i have the right to sue the doctor who did the first surgey i think so but want some legal advice....Thank you
