Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

my brother and i are both execuators of my mother's will. she has several mutual funds and accounts that he is refusing to pursue because he does not want his ssn shared. he is also not telling these companies (mutual, phone, water, insurance, etc) that she has passed away. He is continuing everything as if she were still alive. is this illegal in any way? am i subject to being in trouble by association because he is doing this? do i have the right to file the death certificates with all parties and receive my portion of the funds (1/2)?

Sorry to hear about your mother passing. You have my condolences.

A will is just a piece of paper, until it is admitted for probate. Your brother doesn't have to serve, if he doesn't want to share his SSN. You van supply for, .

and/or publicize the death certificate.

Good luck
