Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

My husband passed away without a will, the children from his 1st wife, just came in & took over! They did all the funeral arrangements, would not even acknowledge our marriage or the LOVE that we had for one another. He passed in Feb. of last year, as far as I know, they have closed all of his bank accounts, collected his life insurance (which he had them as beneficiaries to that), & PLEASE HELP!!!!

Unfortunately, there is a one year limit in ooening an estate. If he passed in February of 2012, it is probably too late to go that route. There may be other options for you. Which options you can use, are based upon the specific facts of each situation. You need to consult directly with a probate attorney in your area give them the additional facts and documents, that you couldn't provide here. Time is working against you, so don't delay anymore.

Good luck
