Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

Can one of the parties of an agreed to and legally done joint will for a married couple be completely changed (their half only) And...name a new executor who would be the new beneficiary, completely undermining the purpose of the joint will???

We do not have "joint Wills" in Missouri. What makes you think you have " an agreed to and legally done" joint will?
