Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri
I accepted a position with a base salary and commission. The commission wasn't clearly defined and we negotiated a raise. I learned today that the raise is given against the prospect of future commissions with the understanding that earnings above the initially agreed upon salary and commission would go to repay this raise. The problem is that if I leave the position before the total advance is recouped by the company, then I am responsible for repayment of all of the "raise money" Is this legal?
