It sounds as if you have a serious injury that is not being handled seriously. You cannot expect the company lawyer to look out for your best interests. If you have an off-work slip from the treating doctor, you should be entitled to monetary benefits. A herniated disc can be quite serious. Your medical condition should be addressed fully before an assessment of your final impaiment is made. We are here to help.

I am sorry that you were injured. Obviously your employer has certain legal obligations under the worker's compensation statute. But neither the employer or the insurance company is going to be looking out for your best interests. This is why you need to consult with an attorney who is experienced in the filed of worker's compensation law. Worker's comp attorneys will take your case on a contingency fee basis which means that you will not have to pay any attorney's fees "out of pocket". A good attorney can get you everything that you are entitled to, and help you get through a long and often frustring process. I happen to know one of the very best worker's compensation attorneys in the state, and I would be happy to refer you to him for a free consultation. Please feel free to contact me.
