Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Montana

My parents have asked me to be executor of their estate. Both are still living. When one passes away, the estate goes to the remaining spouse. When both are gone, the estate is to be divided between my sister and me. This sister has "borrowed" huge amounts of money from our parents over the years, squandering it all. My parents fear that my sister's inheritance would be quickly wasted if handed to her in one lump sum. So they would like her share of the inheritance to be put in a trust, and a monthly allowance will be given to her. My question is, what happens to the trust if my sister dies and there is still money there? Should something be added to the will concerning this? By the way, I live in Alaska, but am guardian and conservator for my parents, who live in a nursing home in Montana.

The trust would need language that would provide for what would happen to the money in the even your sister died.
