Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Nevada

Age discrimination

Obviously, the boss isn't going to admit age discrimination. However,he gives work privileges to other State Employees such as, more overtime(means more money in the pocket)preferred shifts,(when no shift bidding allowed)advance training and better evaluations. Can I prove age discrimination based on their benifits over mine. They're younger;I'm older(44yr). Where is a good place to research this area?

Re: Age discrimination

Your association's employee representative can assist you in preparing, filing and presenting a grievance under the personnel rules governing classified employees of the State of Nevada, and submitting related materials to the Nevada Equal Rights commission. You may also hire an attorney to accomplish these tasks, but in any event make sure to immediately present these matters in writing to the proper authorities so that you do not lose your rights.
