Collecting Money

What avenues are open to a subcontractor on a construction job for the mining industry as far as collecting money owed them?

Lawsuit and/or mechanics lien. Must be licensed contractor. May require nonresident cost bond to sue.

If you are a licensed Nevada contractor (assuming the construction was done in Nevada), you may file a construction lien under Nevada statutes.
