Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Nevada

I sold a scooter to a guy in las vegas. The scooter is in his possession however he still owes me $150 before I will sign over the title to him. We do not have a written agreement, just verbal. I live out of state and want to get my scooter back because he has failed to pay the remaining money and is ignoring my calls. Can I legally show up to his house with a police officer and get my scooter back?
