older sister trying to get custody of younger sister

im 18 trying to get gardianship of my little sister its not a good thing for my mom to have custody of her i would like to get custody as well does anyone know the steps to get this whole thing started

You would need to file formal guardianship papers within the county of Nevada in which you reside. You will have to show that it is in the best interest of the child (sister)to no longer reside with your mother.

Your case will be difficult to achieve. You will have to show that your mother is an unfit parent and have conclusive evidence to show why.

Additionally, as you are 18 years old, you are going to have to show that you are stable and fit enough to care for a child.
