Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Wage Garnishment

For the 2nd time in 3 years my wages have been garnished for erroneous child support that was fully satisified. Child is now 26 years old. Divorced 1984, ex-wife continues to start this action against me when I have records to prove Satisifaction of Judgement. This is the 3rd time she has made this claim, twice it was proven satisified. What can be done to stop this harrassment once & for all? Garnishment comes from Nevada & I live in Illinois.

Re: Wage Garnishment

You would have to go to court to get it stopped. You have to prove that it was twice proven to be satisfied. There is also a rule that would allow the court to award you attorney's fees for her false claims.

The big question is where was it twice proven to be satisfied?
