Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada

My landlord refused to give me a copy of the rental agreement and is trying to charge me fees that she states I owe her per the agreement. I say I don't owe them because the law requires she give me a copy of the agreement. I have moved out and the landlord has reported me to a collection agency. I feel the fees are in excess of the law and I am refusing to pay them. I have disputed them with the collection agency and they are ignoring my dispute and threatening to report the fees to the credit reporting agency to ruin my credit history. What else can I do?

You can file a complaint. If the amount in controversy is less than $5,000.00, you may file in small claims court.
