Then, go to the courthouse early for your hearing and ask the Bailiff (Sheriff's Deputy) at the metal detector near the entrance to look at the threats and understand that you fear for your safety from this person. If there is an available Bailiff to accompany you to the courtroom, they will assign him/her to be with you while you await your case being called up. Tell the Judge about the messages and have a complete copy ready to present to support your claim. What the landlord is doing is illegal and must be stopped.
