renting house that is in foreclosure

the owner of the property where I reside has let the property go into foreclosure. Am I obligated to continue paying rent?

Most landlord/tenant residential contracts will contain language with the obligations of a tenant while the landlord is going through foreclosure proceedings.

Typically, you would have no obligations to pay rent once the home is foreclosed. However, you probably would be obligated to continue paying rent as long as the landlord retains official deed ownership.
