Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

i had a car accident when vuisiting nevada- another car smashed into me when it tried doing a u turn. that driver was cited. it was a hire car i had with full insurance and out travel insurance covered the injuries. is it worth making a claim for pain and suffering or are we wasting our time.
