Compensation for an automobile accident
I was involved in an auto accident where I was hit by a person running a red light. I have a bit of soreness in my neck, and a passenger with a rather big, and painful bruise on her leg. The other driver is contesting that the light wasn't red, and I have 2 witnesses that saw that it was red and she also recieved a citation for the infraction. Because she says that it wasnt red I am having to now prove that she ran the light. This is acctually quite a pain and a difficult thing for me because i have a full time job and attend college full time. My question is should i ask the insurance company for any compensation above and beyond the repair cost, and what sort of transprotation are they required to provide for me while my vehicle is being repaired.
