''Illegal Detainment''

I was Illegally detained by a company back in 11/2006 and I want to sue this company for all they put me through...I went to jail,had 14 felonies(they were all dropped) and it was because I was a victim of a Nigerian Scam...I told this company over and over that I was going to sue them but I don't know where to start? I know they will settle out of court....Thanx...M Lindsay

You would have two (2) years from the date of the false imprisonment to file a case; so November 2008. I would advise you to consult with an attorney regarding your case to determine the strengths and validity of your claim.
