Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Slip and fall Mc Donalds

My letter to Corp.

Two months ago (December 19), I took my 4 year old son and nephew for dinner at this McDonalds. While I was eating dinner, my son was playing in the play area when he got injured. The supervisor applied first aid because there was blood all over my son's face. I immediately rushed my son to the emergency room for treatment because he needed stitches. I have pictures of it. The next day, I returned to file a report with the manager because she was not there at the time of the incident. She took down all my information, but didn't provided me a copy of the incident report. She told me that the insurance company will be in contact with me in three weeks. Three weeks later, I called her and spoke with her directly, and she said that she spoke with the insurance company and that they will be in contact with me soon, but I still have not heard nor receive any mail from the insurance company. That was a month and a half ago. We have now received the hospital bills, which is around $1,500. I am not the type to start any problems, but i do wish in good faith that someone would let me know what is really going on. I have not yet employed a lawyer but it has cross my mind.
