sale of marital assets with lis pendens

i'm in the process of divorce. My wife quitclaimed our house (title in her name only) for $25,000 to a friend. Mortgage is $675,000. A lis pendens exist. Value of house is around $900,000. What can I do to recover my true share of the equity. I think my wife is trying to cheat me out of my share.

You can get the Divorce Court to undo the transfer for $25,000 if you can first show your interest in the house. The reasons behind the house being in your wife's name is important or at the very least, if she paid the mortgage with community property funds, you can get one-half of the community interest.

This is very complicated and you should not try to represent yourself as too much money is involved. There are specific questions that you have to ask your wife at a deposition and then present the case properly to the judge.

You can get what you are rightfully entitled but only if done correctly.
