fired after injured on job

My brother is being fired just 2 days

after he was injured on the job, is this

legal?

Nevada is considered an "at will" employment state. An employer can fire an individual for almost any reason as long as it is not a recognized discriminatory element (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.).

If an employer fires your brother they would still be responsible for providing workmen's compensation benefits during the life of his injury.
