Legal Question in DUI Law in New Hampshire

DUI and drug laws in New Hampshire

I have a friend who is from MA and recieved a DUI in NH. On top of that he was in possesion of mushrooms a class b narcotic. I am curious to what his consequences are, in my understanding because this is his first offense he will be fined in NH. Will my friend have to do community service, will there be any relation with MA courts? am confused because in MA you instantly lose your license and have to take counseling classes. I would appreciate clarification on what will become of his case. If it helps he was carrying 1/8 of mushrooms and he crashed while intoxicated.

Once convicted, NH will notify Mass regarding the conviction and Mass 'may' suspend the license. It's up to the registry.
