Re: state probation

The problem with committing a crime in another state is that it subjects you to their laws and probation is longer period of period of supervised release in lieu of a shorter period of incarceration. You will need the permission of your probation office and the court to transfer your probation, plus the State of Georgia will have to be willing to ACCEPT your probation.

Next time you go on vacation (especially in New Hampshire), don't bring illegal substances; it will save you alot of money and potential prison time.
