Re: grand daughter

Your question is a complex one so my first piece of advice would be to speak with an attorney. Simply stated RSA 461-A:13 allows for grandparents to file a request for visitation with the court. In order to do this you would need to file a petition with the family court. However, it would be helpful to know who currently has guardianship of your granddaughter as this may be something you are interested in petitioning for. Furthermore it is also relevant to know whether your son was married to the mother, and if not has he been determined by a court to be the father.
