Does the 3 day right of rescission apply to new cars?

There is no general 3-day right of rescission. The right exists only where granted by special statutes. There is federal legislation that gives such a right in certain loans. The NJ law give the right for door-to-door sales. I know of no statute that applies to auto sales unless the sale does not take place at the dealer's regular place of business. |
