Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I am 20 years old. In August of 2014 I was arrested for possession (under 50 grams) and paraphernalia. I was placed on conditional discharge. I received a letter in the mail to see my probation officer at the end of this month (March). About a week ago one of my co-workers was driving me home from work (he was 17). I asked him and told him multiple times that I couldn't be in the car with any CDS's. He parked on the side of a street and started rolling a blunt. Not to long after a police officer started pulling up and the driver (the 17 year old boy) noticed that the officer was pulling up and attempted (and succeeded) to throw his pot in my purse. When the officer came up to the car he said it smelled of raw marijuana and asked me (the passenger) to step out of the car. He asked us both for identification, I handed over my identification, the boy had none (and was driving past curfew). He continued to lie to the officer and said that I had been driving the vehicle (but why would I be in the passengers side if I was driving?) The officer noticed a small amount of marijuana on the floor of the passenger side. He asked both us if it belonged to us. I explained to the officer that it did not belong to me and that it belonged to the boy, however he did throw the rest of his marijuana in my bag. I signed a consent form for them to search my purse. I was placed under arrest and the boy was told call his father. I was told that we were both charged with possession (under 50 grams) and paraphernalia. However, I am on conditional discharge, the same judge that put me on conditional discharge 4 months ago is the judge dealing with my case now. I would just like to know what could happen in this case. I understand that the boy has to go to county court because he is a minor. If he takes a guilty plea can they dismiss my charges? or does that not even matter? What will happen if we both plea not guilty?
