Re: loitering

Loitering laws were ruled unconstitutional more than 20 years ago, but for your question, there might not be a photograph taken for the issuance of a summons. You are in the soup until you are out. I see a lawyer in your future.

Call me if you like. I will travel anywhere in New Jersey and my fees are reasonable.

Re: loitering

This charge could cause you trouble. You need a lawyer to see what proof the police have of the person who was involved and talk to the police and the prosecutor to straighten this out. Call me if you would like to discuss it further at 877*688*3879.

Re: loitering

I am located in Camden County. You need to obtain an attorney whether you hire the public defender or a private attorney to defend you against the charge. As a former assistant prosecutor, I understand the system and please understand the charge will not go away on its own.

I would be happy to follow up with you. Please email me directly or call my office if you would like to schedule an appointment either in person or by telephone. My contact information is listed in the links below.

Disclaimer: You can not rely on the advice of an attorney given over the internet. The exact facts of your situation, including facts which you have not mentioned in your question, may completely change the result for your situation.

Re: loitering

You don't have a choice. The Court will require you to get counsel; if you choose to go with the Public defender, then that is who will represent you.

You can choose a lawyer who has reasonable fees for this type of service. My office charges a small flat fee to appera in Camden City Muni Court.

Please write back if you have any other questions.

Mike

Re: loitering

If it wasn't you then tell this to the prosecutor and he will have the arresting officer identify you or not identify you. If he doesn't identify you then the charge should be dropped. If he does identify you, then hire a lawyer. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
