my son was sentenced to 3 yrs in jail for selling pot at the sentencing the judge recommened IMMEDIATE ISP , how long will my son have to serve with the judges recomendation

Usually you have to wait 9 months before you can apply for ISP. However if the judge is recommending immediate ISP, which I have never heard of, maybe your son should apply for ISP now.
