Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

I received a ticket for having a an open container of beer while walking on the streets in the Rutgers University campus. The Campus police officer in New Brunswick, NJ issued the ticket. The violation number is 9.04.020. I am underage, and was caught drinking however only received a ticket for open container and another for littering. The ticket for the 9.04.020 (open container) violation requires a court date and I was wondering if this is something that will show up on my record, if it will add points to my license, and how much i should expect for the fine.
