Can I appeal a Final Judgement of Divorce?

My FJOD is scheduled for Oct. 20th, to which I had an oral divorce two weeks ago.

I do not agree with the terms of the divorce. I am 72 year old, and receive $1666 in social security per month. My ex-husbands monthly income is twice that amount.

The attorneys in NJ keep telling me that I am not entitled to alimony. So, my ex-husband is only required to pay me $250 per month for healthcare. To which, I have no guarantee that he will pay.
