Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My husband has been overpaying his child support for 5 years (his business all by dried up, so he makes a tenth of the $ he made when the amount was first decided by the court). Is there any way, in NJ, to at least count the overpayment $$ toward the future payments. (his daughter is 19 but in college so not emancipated yet.) Thanks!
