Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I was living with my ow EX Fiance from nov 09 till nov 2014, When I moved in I brought a lot of furniture and other stuff.

Anyway I quit my job and I talked him into starting his our business.IIt is doing fairly good now, I did all his advertising buildt,

website, did the advertising ect. I put my rent money from my house and cashed in Insurance policy 8k and I did some worked and make probably 25k a year at least, I also paid for all the food the whole time, He started beating me and kicking me out after 3 months were were together was the 1st time he hit me, Not only did he hit me , he constantly emotionlly physically verbaly abused me, I sold my house in apr 2013 I was going to leave but I had no friend and relatives which lived close and I had no acess to my cars , so he drove me everywhere. I got 45k and I had to pay him back for all the bill for the months prior wich was 8k , I always had wanting a Bull terrier and wanted to breed them so I could start my own thing so I spent around 6 thousand on the dogs, I lent him 2 k for some parts for work I bought all new furniture in living in house , 2 flat screen surround sound, 1 ipad and a laptop acer, I had already had4 other laptops wich he broke. I bought a car 4k and When I finally told my kids to help me they came, and I have never gone bac because he said I am noo allowed on hi property and I cant have any of my stuff . everything I owned is in that house, even my dads ashes my grandma oil paintings my kids picture, everything I owned for my whole life, He aslo owes me money for Dogs and parts money . Now he is dating a lawyer, my luck, can I take him to court I want 2 of our 4 dogs, the were registed in bth our names, Can someone help me I have been hiding here in W Va, cause I am scrd f him Can anyone help me get my money and my stuff and my dogs, Help please
