Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Pending QDRO

In October, I was to receive transitional pay from a previous job. My ex wife was entitled to approx. $711 of that. I sent her approved paperwork to sign off on but she sent it to her attorney. The attorney has held on to it since that time and will not do anything. I want to file a motion to have her complete this process.

Re: Pending QDRO

You can bring a motion to compel her to sign off on the paperwork. Usually the filing of the motion will spark her attorney to get the paperwork done so that the motion does not get heard and your ex-wife found in violation of a Court Order.
