Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I was stopped by police on 3/7 in Ocean county where i reside, and alerted that my license was suspended due to non payment of child support.

I checked child support website. Website says license suspended, and bench warrant issued.

This would be from Jersey City courthouse.

Was never notified of license suspension, or warrant.

I called the probation officer, and was told to "come to court house with money". If we can agree on the amount, the bench warrant will be removed, and i'll be given paperwork to reinstate my license, if it's not enough, i'll have to see the judge.

I can't get an exact amount, plus I can't afford piblic transportation to travel the 90 miles.

I also am self employed, and will not be able to work without a license.

I've only fallen behind in the last year due to a job loss, and owe around $3200.

Also my daughter is 19, and I would like to emancipate her.

What are my options as of now, just to avoid jail, and settle this?
