Legal Question

Hello,

I have a AOS pending at VSC , I have an valid AP till Nov 09 2009, I have appied for AP renewal on 3rd Aug 2009 not yet recieved approval.I need to travel urgently outside the country.Can you please advice if I travel with valid AP, come back before Nov 09 2009 will my existing AP renewal appilcation become invalid ?
