in order to be granted a u-visa does the person you are pressing charges against have to be found guilty?

what if you don't have physical proof that the crimes were committed to you?

Hello:

There need not be a conviction if you are a victim of crime. However, it does make it more difficult to get approved, especially if there is no evidence it was committed against you.
