Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Do I have a case for harrassment?

I have been working for a company for 13+ years - I have a worker's comp injury to my neck which is permanent, so I retained an attorney. I do not know if she knows this, but the HR Director does. Suddenly, the CEO is harrassing me when my direct supervisor took a MLOA. She began ignoring me, making me feel unwanted for at least 2 months. Then she forces me to take on another full time position on top of what I already do (Admin Asst to 2 directors) stating it is "other duties as assigned." because it is a good business move. This new position keeps me extremely busy and now I'm accused of being negative because I don't "socialize" (ie-give 1-word answers, don't make eye contact)-she is giving me a verbal disciplinary action which I do not agree with nor will sign off on. I was told by HR that if I didn't take these additional duties & change my work hours to begin at 6:30 am, that I should consider other options (leave). I told HR & CEO this was not a job I would have applied for. This is not the first time the CEO has harrassed me and taken retaliatory action. The first time was in 2009 & was reported to HR without consequence. There are many, many details that this text box does not allow the room for.

Please contact me if possible. Thank you for your time.

Its possible that you may have a claim of discrimination because you are disabled or perceived as being disabled and perhaps increasing your workload to a point where it is unmanageable on your part, and then proceeding with disciplinary action as a pretext for unlawful discrimination. This is perhaps all speculative on my part; however, you need to consult with an employment law attorney ASAP.
