Legal Question in Mediation in New Jersey

I booked a H.S. reunion at a hotel and they are terminating the day before the event. I am having trouble meeting the min requirement of people and don't want to have to pay out of pocket. Since my contract is with the specific hotel do I have any chance of not having to pay the extra cost of not meeting the min requirementsince they will no longer be a Wyndham?

The answers to your questions will depend on the facts. Why is the hotel terminating the day before? what does your contract with the hotel say?

Can you get out of paying because they changed and are not longer a Wyndham? at a guess, probably not.

It sounds like you need a lawyer to review this and give you some guidance. It sounds like you have a fair amount of money at risk.

Come on down to Bergen County, and I will see what I can do to help you!
