Parental neglect/ personal injury ?

I was injured by a juvenial in an attempt to stop the juvenail from attacking his mother iwas stabbed in the chest. The juvenial has pled guilty and has been sentenced. the home owners has denied my claim , can I sue the parents for lost wages?
