Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

Myself and 2 siblings have ownership of our mom's house now that she is in a nursing home. My brother and I live in the house and pay all the utilities plus the taxes and insurance. Since we will be selling the house and splitting the profit 3 ways, shouldn't the 3 of us be paying our share of the taxes and insurance? My sister contributes nothing to the expenses on the house but expects to get a 1/3 of the profit.

if your mom is all there and can make sound decisions, she can transfer the property to you now. you will avoid a lot of estate issues later on. I specialize in these transactions. I will be very happy to help.
